Programme Info
Increasing public awareness about early cancer detection has caused medical institutions to need more radiographers to undertake various health diagnostic tasks. Operating an in-house Ultrasound and X-ray centre, Vision University College can offer Medical imaging students ample opportunities to deal with many patients directly during the training.
Apart from the clinical exposure at our in-house diagnostic centre, students of the programme will also undergo clinical training with our partnered government and private hospitals. Vision University College is committed to producing well-rounded radiographers as we strive to ensure that the students are ready to cope with the demands of the industry. The Diploma in Medical Imaging (DMI) at Vision University College trains students to become proficient in various methods, including general X-rays, CT scans, MRI, Mammograms, and more.
Fully accredited by MQA, it is Malaysia’s only diploma recognised for admission into Medical Ultrasonography, allowing graduates to pursue higher qualifications. DMI graduates can automatically register with the Malaysia Health Professional Council.

Entry Requirement
MALAYSIAN STUDENTS:
- Passed SPM (with a pass in Bahasa Malaysia and History) with at least 5 credits, including Mathematics and one Science subject (Biology/ Physics/ Chemistry/ General Science/ Applied Science), and 3 other credits (at least 1 credit in Bahasa Melayu or English). English and Bahasa Melayu must be passed.
- Passed O-Level with 5 credits, including Mathematics and a Science subject (Biology/ Physics/ Chemistry/ General Science/ Applied Science).
- Completed Certificate in Science with a CGPA 2.75/4.00.
- Other equivalent qualifications recognised by the Malaysian Government.

Programme Info
Opticians are eye care professionals skilled in refraction, lens dispensing, and using ophthalmic instruments to assess vision and prescribe corrective lenses. They also provide guidance on maintaining good eye health.
Did you know that a Registered Optician in Malaysia is eligible to operate licensed eyecare practices using their professional license? To become an Optician, you must complete the Diploma in Opticianry and register with the Malaysian Optical Council (MOC), as outlined under Section 18(1) of the Optical Act 1991.
At Vision University College, DIO students receive hands-on experience in clinical and dispensing laboratories, as well as real-world training through industrial attachments at optical centers. This programme equips students with essential skills to diagnose refractive errors and accurately dispense visual aids.
Upon successful completion, graduates will be eligible for registration with the Malaysian Optical Council (MOC) and recognized as licensed Opticians. This programme is accredited by the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA), and offers pathways to a rewarding career or progression to further studies, including Bachelor’s degrees in Optometry, Vision Science, or related fields.

Programme Info
The rapid growth in non-invasive medicine in recent years coupled with an ageing population have heightened the demand for specialists especially in the niche area of rehabilitative care and physical therapy.

Trained at Vision Physiotherapy Centre, students of Vision University College Diploma in Physiotherapy learn to treat patients holistically while minimising risks, ensuring patient safety, and working within legal and ethical framework.
The curriculum includes lessons and practical sessions in Sports and Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy, Cardiorespiratory Physiotherapy, Neurological Physiotherapy and a 6-month internship with one of Vision University College’s many industrial partners. Vision University College is also the first and only education institution in Malaysia to include Ultrasound Treatment therapy in its teaching plans.
